Job Overview

We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our remote customer technical support team, working from the comfort of their own homes in various states across the United States, including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. As a remote customer technical support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and customer education to our clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, with a strong ability to multitask across multiple systems and applications
  • Receive customer inbound phone calls for various technical issues, providing technical assistance and customer education, and troubleshooting technical problems using guided workflows and step-by-step resolutions
  • Presentation of our Virtual Service Call process, which saves customers time and money, and assisting customers with scheduling an onsite technician visit if required, after positively positioning virtual and self-serve options
  • Strong emphasis on providing excellent customer interactions and experiences, using empathy, soft skills, and connecting with the customer to de-escalate situations and resolve issues
  • Maintenance of a private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace that meets company standards, with adequate internet bandwidth to perform the role
  • Passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience, including comprehensive issue resolution, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Troubleshooting skills and experience in a technical environment, with the ability to follow guided troubleshooting steps and resolve technical issues
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathize and connect with customers, and provide clear and concise technical explanations
  • Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to multitask with ease, effectively prioritize tasks, and be a self-starter, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated proficient problem-solving and customer de-escalation skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required, with technical experience being a plus
  • Technical experience, with knowledge of computer applications, software, and hardware, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathize and connect with customers, and provide clear and concise technical explanations
