About the Role

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will be the face of arenaflex in your area, and your leadership and customer service skills will be essential in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences

• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition
• Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks in a warehouse environment
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts and work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
• Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Proven track record of driving business results and delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer delivery promises

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a leadership or management role

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including OSHA regulations
• Experience working with a team to develop and implement business plans and strategies
