Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service, ensuring seamless sales and product support, and fostering strong relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders. As a Customer Service Representative I, you will work closely with our sales and operations teams to validate orders, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely updates on order status. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving abilities will enable you to excel in this position and make a significant impact on our customers' experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate ship-to and replenishment locations of orders with sales and operations partners to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Enter purchase orders (POs) with high accuracy, including Bill Only, Ship and Bills, GHX, and other future EDI platforms, and push back on incorrect or subpar data submissions
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming surgery product usage cases and provide support for customer inquiries and concerns
  • Develop creative solutions to customer issues, providing phone support for sales and healthcare professionals, and keeping detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Proactively update customers on order status to accelerate the billing process and support the Sales Department by providing timely responses to questions and inquiries
  • Build strong relationships with hospital billing specialists, support surgery product usage questions, and follow up to collect purchase orders and clarify discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to resolve product usage pricing or discrepancies and provide exceptional customer support

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience in customer service, sales, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an account representative or in a similar role
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems
