Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional client care and ensuring timely resolution of customer inquiries
- Accurately processing and arranging customs clearance for shipments from data sets, SOPs, duty books, web, or customs
- Handling and processing various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and collaborating with participating government organizations (PGAs)
- Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Adhering to all international importing and exporting regulations
- Collaborating with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver high-quality service
- Processing organizational financier shipments
- Managing distant filings and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Ensuring adherence to all service and operational standards
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, business, international trade)
- No prior industry experience required, but a minimum of six months of work experience is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Viewpoint, and office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* HS Certificate or GED
- Industry experience in logistics, transportation, or international trade
- Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of various software systems and reference materials
- Ability to collaborate with clients, carriers, intermediaries, government agencies, internal staff, and management at all levels
- Strong leadership and team management skills
