The Manager State & Higher Education Role

As a Manager State & Higher Education, you'll be responsible for coaching and professionally developing our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary goal will be to increase sales, establish formal partnerships, and broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts. You'll also be responsible for identifying candidates, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted advisors in the managed travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management

  • Increase sales and establish formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Broaden awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services
  • Identify candidates, hire, onboard, and train a sales organization of trusted advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborate with the Southwest Business Department to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers and stakeholders

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales and account management
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S.

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Experience in the travel industry or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience with sales force automation tools and software
