Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our Operations and Customer Center team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, while working collaboratively with our teams to drive business growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow with our organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Working collaboratively with our teams to drive business growth and success, including the Load Control Center, Fuel Methodology, and other operational groups
  • Utilizing data and information to identify and resolve business challenges, and implementing process improvements to enhance our services
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, and fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our services

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, and a strong desire to learn and grow with our organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex business challenges
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

What Will Give You an Edge

While not required, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge:

  • Familiarity with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Scene, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with carrier operations, including scheduling and planning
  • A history of leadership and community involvement, including student and extracurricular activities
  • A passion for a future career in the aviation industry and serving Delta's clients
