Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat, resolving issues and answering questions in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing knowledge of healthcare plans, products, and services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
  • Handling customer complaints and concerns in a empathetic and professional manner, escalating issues as necessary
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide solutions
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on healthcare products and services
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and targets, including customer satisfaction and resolution rates

Required Capabilities:

* 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the healthcare industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong typing skills, with the ability to type 40+ words per minute

Preferred Capabilities:

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of healthcare products and services, including insurance plans and medical billing
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
