The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients with chronic health conditions, such as hemophilia, oncology, rheumatoid arthritis, and growth hormone deficiency. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, responding to phone inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing personalized support. Your expertise will help patients understand their pharmacy benefits, navigate complex healthcare systems, and make informed decisions about their care.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to phone inquiries from patients with chronic health conditions, providing empathetic and personalized support
- Help patients understand their pharmacy benefits, including coverage, copays, and deductibles
- Use expert listening skills to quickly identify and address patient concerns, escalating issues as necessary
- Document all interactions in real-time, ensuring accurate and timely communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless support to patients
What You Should Have
* High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of relevant experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field
- General PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
