Experienced Senior GL Bookkeeper – Remote Data Entry Position at arenaflex
Job Summary:
arenaflex is seeking an experienced Senior GL Bookkeeper to join our remote data entry team. As a key member of our accounting group, you will work closely with other GL bookkeeping staff to drive process improvements and ensure accurate financial reporting. This is a full-time, 100% remote position with a competitive hourly rate of $27.

About the Job:
As a Senior GL Bookkeeper at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Leading the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
- Ensuring financial records are maintained for management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assisting with providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
- Communicating with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders on significant accounting matters
- Conducting special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

- You have sharp business acumen and process-oriented thinking
- You are data-driven and unafraid to dig deep for truth and accuracy
- You have excellent communication, oral, and written skills, with strong proficiency in English
- You have strong analytical and time management skills
- You have 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- You have a strong understanding of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
- You have experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite, or similar software
