Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Professional Services Sourcing. As a key member of our sourcing team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. You'll work closely with business stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve quality, and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize the value of our professional services spend
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve quality, and mitigate risks
- Managing RFPs, negotiations, and contract administration for professional services agreements
- Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sourcing strategies
- Developing and executing performance control applications to ensure quality, responsiveness, and cost
- Ensuring compliance with sourcing and procurement regulations and best practices
- Communicating and documenting key supplier relationships and performance metrics
- Participating in expert development activities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 2 years of professional services sourcing experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work with diverse stakeholders
- Internal client awareness and ability to work in various environments
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and conditions
- Proven experience working with the legal department on boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
- Experience working with companies that offer consulting and advisory services is a plus
- Professional services sourcing history is a plus
- Consulting/advisory history is a plus
