With over 5 million surveys received from clients each year across consumer, business, and service provider segments, our Customer Listening Team is responsible for implementing the Stop-to-Give-Up Voice of the Customer technique. This technique involves designing and programming customer satisfaction surveys, including 40+ studies translated into over 10 languages and deployed in more than 20 countries.
The Senior Statistics Architect Role
As a Senior Statistics Architect, you'll be instrumental in driving the transformation and innovation of our VOC method. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with utility teams to outline, design, and capture business needs
- Developing and leveraging knowledge of Voice of the Customer methods to inform and transform data within our Cornerstone Large Data Platform
- Designing and building robust data model architecture to facilitate efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
- Providing big data and batch/real-time analytical insights leveraging transformational technologies (Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python) to deliver innovative solutions ensuring high-quality and accuracy through intensive testing at various and use case levels
- Offering guidance to enhance competencies to drive efficiency in computing programs using massive data ecosystems
- Powering customer story evaluation & elaboration, design, and development of software programs, testing, and building automation tools
- Proactively identifying and automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency
- Working closely with colleagues from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and review statistics for various use cases as part of the VOC Stop-to-Give-Up technique
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, shell scripting languages, development life cycle management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven tasks for a span of no less than 3+ years
- Strong collaboration skills with product managers/product owners for expertise on functional requirements and converting them into technical deliverables
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery, where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles
