Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Entering data into our computer system or database with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Verifying the accuracy of data entered and making necessary corrections
  • Performing clerical work involving the processing of documents and information, requiring computer literacy
  • Contacting other offices and/or the public to relay factual information or to explain simple procedures
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to standardized department procedures
  • Meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Collaborating with our team to resolve customer inquiries and issues
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support through various communication channels

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in related areas performing secretarial or general office work in an office with considerable public contact, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training that demonstrates the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Working knowledge of computer word-processing and Microsoft Office applications, including Google
  • Knowledge, skill, and/or experience in the implementation of Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies or be willing to receive training in those strategies
  • US and Canada residency

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a virtual or remote office environment
  • Knowledge of data entry software and systems
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
