Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the prescription needs of injured workers, ensuring efficient and accurate service that meets the highest standards of quality and patient satisfaction. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will work on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, with the flexibility to work from home during weekend shifts. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, input, and support claimant profiles in our pharmacy network, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications, providing timely and effective support to ensure seamless prescription management.
  • Coordinate and liaise with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Support client needs regarding requirements for claimant medications, providing reporting and data analysis to inform decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Manage and update client and claimant information in multiple systems, maintaining data integrity and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Answer questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies regarding medications, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adjust to changing processes and needs of various clients, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the team and the organization as a whole.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience, and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and multiple software systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask relevant questions, with excellent written grammatical skills and understanding of proper telephone etiquette.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in workers' compensation law, with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Editing skills, with the ability to review and revise written materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
