Job Summary
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data center infrastructure. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers, and you'll be a key player in our cloud security initiatives. Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of data centers
- Develop and implement cloud security strategies and best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and develop remediation plans to mitigate potential security threats
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced engineers and team members
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our data center operations and cloud security
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on data center operations and cloud security
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment
- Experience with cloud security platforms and tools, such as AWS or Azure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and precision
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell
- Experience with data center management tools, such as BMC or SolarWinds
