Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Account Representative to join our Remote Customer Service team. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting clients throughout the occupational medicine management process. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the primary point of contact for clients and clinics, ensuring seamless communication and high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and clinics to secure medical surveillance records, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Maintain effective communication and provide high-quality customer service to clients and clinic staff, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage the submission of medical and substance abuse testing records, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound communication and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Monitor laboratory results and collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely submission of x-rays, addressing any issues with vendors as needed and maintaining accurate records.
  • Issue employee letters following client protocols, paying close attention to service dates and logging, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Keep track of employee DOT documents and cards, ensuring that all expiration dates are up to date and that all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Schedule employee physicals and coordinate onsite medical surveillance services as necessary, ensuring that all clients receive the support they need.
  • Provide training to new clients on occupational medicine and substance abuse testing processes, ensuring that they are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
  • Review and verify invoices to ensure accuracy, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and transparent.
  • Foster positive relationships with clinics, vendors, and other key stakeholders, including ordering supplies when required and maintaining open lines of communication.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills. The essential qualifications and requirements for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service or patient care, handling health information and administrative tasks.
  • Strong proficiency in English and MS Office; intermediate to advanced Excel skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high degree of accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, clinics, and vendors.
