Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to patients, handling new and reorder medication requests, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of specialty drugs. Key Responsibilities

* Provide phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty drug treatment, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Handle new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and updating patient information, confirming and renewing benefits, and communicating with patients and internal teams as needed
  • Assist patients in deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, processing and collecting copay payments, and obtaining approvals from insurance companies and healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including pharmacy, insurance, and medical staff, to ensure timely and accurate processing of specialty drugs
  • Identify and resolve issues related to sales or clinical concerns, escalating complex cases to senior team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare, business, or communications)

  • One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via phone
  • One year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency
  • Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License

Preferred Qualifications

* Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems, including data entry and management
