Established (20+ Years) Global eCommerce Company Seeking Logistics Supervisor for High-Volume 3PL Operations in Savannah, GA

An established global eCommerce company with over 20 years in business is seeking a Logistics Supervisor with 3+ years of logistics, freight, or warehouse operations experience to support high-volume B2B and direct-to-consumer fulfillment for major retailers including Amazon (preferred), Walmart, Costco, Target, and Wayfair.

This role sits at the center of 3PL partner management, inbound container flow, outbound fulfillment, and returns, and reports directly to the Vice President of Logistics. The position is based primarily out of the Savannah warehouse with daily on-site presence, paired with analytics, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. Quarterly travel to the Houston warehouse is expected for performance reviews and oversight, though that location operates largely independently.

Salary range: $72,000-$78,000+ annually ($6,000-$6,500 monthly) depending on experience

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in logistics, freight, warehouse, or distribution operations

Experience supporting direct-fulfillment (drop shipping) for Amazon

Hands-on experience managing or working closely with 3PL partners

Working knowledge of ocean freight, freight forwarders, drayage, and domestic carriers

Proficiency in Excel and reporting, with the ability to analyze operational and performance data

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred, equivalent experience accepted

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day 3PL partner performance, ensuring SOP compliance across container receipt, picking, packing, and shipping

Conduct regular audits and lead weekly performance reviews to drive KPI alignment and continuous improvement

Coordinate inbound container flow with freight forwarders and drayage providers to minimize delays, chassis days, and penalties

Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, visual inspections, and corrective actions as needed

Ensure outbound fulfillment meets retailer SLAs, including Amazon's 24-hour fulfillment requirements

Collaborate with carriers to secure trailer availability and timely pickups

Maintain compliance with retailer routing guides and vendor portals to prevent chargebacks or shipment issues

Oversee returns processing, including inspection, repackaging, parts harvesting, and disposition of defective items

Support packaging inventory planning and coordinate replenishment with international production teams

Prepare and maintain reporting on container lifecycle, fulfillment performance, and retail scorecards across key accounts

Travel quarterly to the Houston warehouse for performance reviews and operational alignment
