The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will take a lead position in developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability, competitiveness, and long-term growth. You will work closely with sales, operations, and executive leadership to drive strategic pricing initiatives, improve cost modeling accuracy, and ensure our pricing structures align with market conditions and business goals. This position plays a critical role in influencing company pricing direction, mentoring junior analysts, and providing actionable insights that shape MVE’s overall commercial strategy. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Strategic Pricing Leadership: Develop and oversee complex pricing models and strategies that balance profitability and customer retention.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Analyze historical freight data, cost drivers, and market intelligence to identify pricing opportunities and optimize margins.
• Bid and RFP Oversight: Lead the preparation, review, and execution of high-value RFPs and bids in collaboration with sales and operations teams.
• Cost and Profitability Modeling: Create and refine advanced cost models that reflect true operational performance and align with business objectives.
• Market and Competitive Research: Evaluate market trends, competitor pricing, and industry benchmarks to support proactive strategy adjustments.
• Reporting and Insights: Design and deliver executive-level reports and dashboards that communicate key pricing trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leadership, finance, and operations to ensure pricing aligns with strategic and financial goals.
• Mentorship: Support and guide junior pricing analysts, fostering continuous learning and analytical development within the team.

Requirements: Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or transportation/logistics pricing (LTL experience strongly preferred).
• Skills:
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic pricing initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present findings to senior leadership.

Compensation

• Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience and location
• Classification: Exempt, subject to all applicable state and federal laws

Work Environment

This is a full-time, fully remote, at-will position with standard business hours. Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20–25 pounds
• Ability to navigate each department and the company’s facilities as needed
