Description:This role is based in the Model Based Enterprise (MBE) organization within Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT). This organization supports 1LMX MBE transformation. The candidate selected for this IT Software Engineer position will support the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Enterprise Part Registry. The successful candidates will work with the MBE Enablement Agile Product team and functional stakeholders to implement IT solutions meeting functional requirements and provide ongoing operations & maintenance of the delivered products. Responsibility will include development of IT solutions across all components of software systems designs, develops, customizes, and maintains solutions for the Product Lifecycle Management software, focusing on process automation, data management, and system integration using Java, Windchill APIs and web services. To enhance engineering workflows, BOM management, and change processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams and troubleshooting complex PLM issues. Develops using agile processes and common technology stacks. This is a full-time telecommuting position open to any US based location. Basic Qualifications:

  • More than 10 years of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) expertise, with a strong focus on PTC  Windchill.
  • US Citizenship is required for this role due to Defense Systems access requirement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Experience delivering software solutions that meet identified business needs using an industry leading PLM platform (ie. Dassault 3DX, PTC Windchill, Siemens TeamCenter).
  • Support integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD) and platforms using ESI, REST, or ODATA/other service types.
  • Experience with SQL, Java, and/or Javascript languages.
  • Experience with at least one relational DB (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, MySQL, etc.).
  • Infrastructure automation tools and troubleshooting applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code and integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end pipelines.
  • Experience of any combination in system/database/network planning & administration.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and system testing, and resolve complex application defects.

Desired Skills:

  • Engineering, Production Operations and/or Supply Chain domain experience including knowledge of the Engineering release and related downstream business processes.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services preferred, but other cloud platforms such as OpenStack and others are relevant as well.
  • Experience with various flavors of Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI).
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates/patches for system stability. Create technical documentation and support end-user system demo.
  • Configuration and deployment of applications using Openshift/Kubernetes.
  • Experience on Agile development programs. (Jira, VersionOne).
  • Experience supporting a high performing virtual team. Individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Self-motivated learner, active learner, driven, strong problem solver.
  • Use of other log aggregation & system monitoring tools.

Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $154,100 - $267,145. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
