Interest Rate Derivatives Analyst

The Interest Rate Derivatives Analyst will help support the team’s coverage and growth on hedging interest rate risk for the bank’s commercial clients. This role will have a broad range of responsibility to support the group which includes structuring/pricing transactions, execution, portfolio management, reporting and analysis. How you’ll spend your time: Price and structure derivative transactions using quantitative models. Support the team with legal documentation for transactions. Assist in middle office responsibilities for post-trade tasks. Support back-office responsibilities on payments, notices, reports and ad-hoc requests. Partner with the bank’s operations team, credit administration, and other internal parties on hedging needs. Optimize client experience and ensure efficiency of processes. Support energy hedging initiatives and tasks when needed. Other duties as necessary. We’re excited to talk to you if: You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. You 2+ years of experience in interest rate derivatives or banking. You have a background in financial markets, derivatives pricing, and risk management. You show interest in financial services, specifically within commercial banking, and global financial markets. You have organizational and project management skills. You can multi-task and work independently. You can build relationships with internal and external partners. You can provide expertise in interest rate hedging strategies and rate market update. You can analyze and solve problems. You can perform duties under frequent time pressures.

Compensation

Range: $51,480.00 - $99,330.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
