Experienced Retail Service Team Member – Customer Service and Store Operations

As a Retail Service Team Member at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and maintaining the overall appearance and organization of our store. Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver friendly and personalized customer service, helping customers shop our store, locate products, and find solutions to their creative needs

  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to the highest standards and ensuring all customers receive a positive and efficient transaction
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments to enhance their shopping experience
  • Educate customers on our Voice of Customer (VOC) survey, gathering valuable feedback to improve our services and products
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS), ensuring seamless integration between online and in-store experiences
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, maintaining store recovery standards and ensuring a well-merchandised and in-stock store
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go back process and general store recovery, to ensure a visually appealing and organized store environment
  • Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our store operations
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
  • Interact with colleagues in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive and respectful even in challenging situations, and promoting a positive image and serving as a role model for other team members
  • Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production, offering expert advice and guidance to customers on framing and custom artwork solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

* Retail and/or customer service experience preferred, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes, access high shelves, and move throughout the store, with regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching

Work Environment:

* Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, with regular movement throughout the store

  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching, with the ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
  • Work in a public retail store setting, with all public areas climate-controlled; some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled; some outdoor work may be assigned to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks
  • Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press, with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
