Key Responsibilities & Duties

As a Remote Customer Experience Travel Agent, you'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer support across multiple channels, including email, chat, and phone. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Outstanding Customer Support: Respond promptly to inquiries with a caring, professional tone, and provide accurate, complete information using the right methods and tools.
  • Manage Transportation, Accommodations, Insurance, and Other Travel Services: Based on client needs, manage transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services to ensure seamless travel experiences.
  • Promote Travel Packages: Use promotional materials and strategies to market tours, itineraries, and deals, and highlight special offers and discounts to boost customer value.
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Identify, address, and solve customer problems, escalating complex cases as needed, and provide accurate, complete information using the right methods and tools.
  • Maintain Customer Records: Document interactions, update accounts, and file relevant documents, and follow established procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistent service.
  • Build & Retain Customer Loyalty: Go the extra mile to engage customers, encourage repeat business, and nurture long-term relationships, and work alongside team members to enhance overall service quality.
  • Stay Informed: Keep current with new services, policies, and industry trends to offer the best advice and support.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Remote Customer Experience Travel Agent, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated Experience in Customer Support or a Client-Facing Role: A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment.
