Position Overview

As a Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for processing child support payments in the SDU (State Disbursement Unit) system in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Your duties will include:

• Processing child support payments in the SDU system with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining a general understanding of policies and procedures
• Collecting, researching, organizing, and analyzing data
• Working as a team member, but also independently at times with limited direction
• Maintaining flexibility and/or the ability to work overtime as needed to meet stringent schedules and timelines

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year prior experience in data entry or a related field
• Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills, using tact, patience, and courtesy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet stringent schedules and timelines

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• Experience working in a remote environment
• Familiarity with the SDU system or similar data entry systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues

Schedule and Work Environment

This is a part-time remote position, requiring a flexible schedule that starts at 4am. You must reside in the state of Ohio and be able to pass a data entry assessment, which will be sent to you prior to the interview.
