Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant/Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional front-of-house support and administrative services to our team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages in a professional and courteous manner
  • Greeting clients and visitors in a warm and welcoming way
  • Capturing and entering data into our database with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintaining and updating our filing system to ensure seamless access to information
  • Responding to queries from the public in a timely and professional manner
  • Mailing and shipping packages and documents
  • Providing administrative support to other departments and teams as needed
  • Maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Performing other administrative duties as required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when capturing and entering data

Preferred Qualifications

While the following qualifications are not essential, they would be an asset in this role:

  • Experience with database management and data entry software
  • Knowledge of office management software and systems
  • Certification in a related field, such as administrative assistance or office management
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual office environment
  • Fluency in a second language
