About the Role

As an Experienced IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing local and/or remote resources and assisting the global organization to define the perfect customer experience. You will own the strategies to create that experience, help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues, and identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement. You will set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization and guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage local and/or remote resources to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences

  • Assist the global organization in defining the perfect customer experience and own the strategies to create that experience
  • Help the group develop and leverage their knowledge base to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
  • Identify ways to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
  • Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
  • Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve business processes
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve business goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations

  • 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
  • Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of professional or military experience
  • Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a cloud-based environment

  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and tools
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with process improvement and automation

* Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration

  • Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools, including ITIL and ServiceNow
