Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Community Relations Assistant to join our team and help us develop and execute strategies that promote social responsibility and community engagement. As a key member of our Local Area Relations division, you'll work closely with our team to create and implement programs that align with our values and mission. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills and experience while working with a dynamic and innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the daily operations of the division, including coordinating game day communications and planned events

  • Manage the gift process, including admission, inventory, and storage
  • Oversee the Fighters Locally newsletter and association communications
  • Manage the Fighters Locally social media channels
  • Handle the division's receipt entries and processing
  • Maintain all departmental schedules
  • Admit office requests and channel public demands
  • Ensure the Fighters Community Relations website is updated regularly and as soon as possible
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal clients and represent the organization to external audiences
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field

  • At least 1 year of experience in community relations, cause marketing, or corporate social responsibility; 1 year of regulatory or project/occasion management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; preference for individuals with experience in Agree, Coupa, and Salesforce
  • Advanced, web-based entertainment and traditional marketing skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen; ability to build positive working relationships with representatives at all levels within the organization
