Job Summary
As a Senior Director of Data Architecture and Engineering at arenaflex, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge data solutions that support our business needs. You will oversee a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our data systems. You will drive the execution of our data product strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives. You will also implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and Innovate: Oversee the design and development of data pipelines, solutions, and end-to-end data architecture to support our business needs.
- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a high-performing team of data engineers and architects, ensuring the robustness, security, and scalability of our data systems.
- Strategic Execution: Drive the execution of our data product strategy, aligning it with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- MDM and Data Governance: Implement Master Data Management (MDM) and governance practices to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization.
- Cloud Solutions: Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions, ensuring data protection and regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their data needs and aligning them with our data strategy.
- Advanced Technologies: Utilize big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka, and integrate them with cloud-based advancements to develop state-of-the-art data solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating complex concepts into actionable insights.
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise: Proven experience in data strategy, architecture, and MDM implementation.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS) and big data technologies.
- Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with a track record of guiding and motivating high-performing teams.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
