Job Responsibilities:
As a Data Specialist - Information Analytics, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and operationalizing data pipelines to make data accessible for use (BI, Advanced Analysis, Services)
- Collaborating with data modelers and data/BI architects to design data pipelines and suggest continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and processing
- Planning, creating, and executing ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Cloud (IICS)
- Utilizing Azure services like Azure SQL DW (Neural connection), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our data products and services
- Developing large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization
- Identifying, planning, and executing internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery
- Identifying ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management
- Communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbally
- Performing peer reviews for other data architects' work
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud technologies; like ADLS, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Event Hub, and other big data advancements
- 2+ years of experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing
- Strong understanding of database storage concepts; Data Lake, Social Data sets, NoSQL, Diagram, Data Warehousing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
- Microsoft Azure/Comparable certifications
- Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches
- Openness to the retail business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies
- Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience conveying data solutions through deft programming development approaches
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices
- Experience working with data visualization tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services
