Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service and Sales professional to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service and Sales associate, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, learning about our products, and providing information to customers to sell an entire project. You'll work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to ensure a safe and shopable environment for our customers. Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance

  • Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shopable, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department and other departments
  • Participate in sales promotions and events to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services to provide expert advice to customers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and efficient operations

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the home improvement industry or a related field

  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Certification in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
