Roles & Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Receiving, collecting, reviewing, and entering data into our computer system or tracking database with accuracy and attention to detail
- Verifying the completeness and accuracy of all data recorded, and providing basic reports as needed
- Providing direction and assistance to users of information regarding data requirements and status of paperwork
- Training other data entry employees and performing other related duties as required
- Maintaining logs of activities and completed work, and filing completed documents in appropriate locations or distributing them
- Scanning or uploading documents, and creating or modifying databases according to the needs of the department
- Providing data lists, spreadsheets, and reports as needed
Duties and Responsibilities
* Read source documents and enter data in specific data fields accurately
- Collect, compile, sort, and verify the data's accuracy or completeness before it is entered
- Perform data integrity tasks by locating and correcting data entry errors, or reporting them to supervisors
- May perform routine office/lab duties, such as answering phones and maintaining supplies
- May maintain logs of activities and completed work, and file completed documents in appropriate locations or distribute them
- May provide data lists, spreadsheets, and reports
- May create or modify databases according to the needs of the department
- Provides direction or assistance to users of information regarding data requirements and status of paperwork
- May train other data entry employees
- Performs other related duties
Requirements
* High School diploma or GED required; Associates degree/Bachelors Degree preferred
- Two years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
