Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Scientist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing AI and machine learning solutions that predict, analyze, and resolve complex issues before they impact our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale out AI-powered systems that drive business value and improve our overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement AI and machine learning models that predict and analyze data on equipment and software systems to prevent outages and identify errors Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale out AI-powered systems that drive business value and improve overall performance Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures to support AI and machine learning applications Design, code, test, debug, and document AI and machine learning models and algorithms Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and develop AI-powered solutions to address them Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and data analysis Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field 2+ years of experience in AI with domain knowledge and experience in data-driven statistical modeling, discriminative techniques, feature extraction and analysis, and supervised learning 2+ years of experience in a programming language such as Python, R, SQL, etc. 2+ years of experience in data extraction, wrangling, visualization, and analysis Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills A strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality results Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Experience handling data from multiple sources and through large data platforms (such as GCP, AWS, etc.) Experience building scalable AI models and solutions Experience investigating and implementing statistical models, machine learning algorithms, or other customized solutions that demonstrate significant impact in solving complex business problems Experience optimizing existing data pipelines by investigating unstructured data sources and designing new features A graduate degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent working experience Knowledge of AI, Data Mining, Statistics, Applied Science, or a related field Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: Strong technical skills in AI, machine learning, and data analysis Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Able to work independently and as part of a team A strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results A drive to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
