Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy team in providing accurate and efficient medication dispensing services to our customers. You will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience are preferred:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
