Key Responsibilities

As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and guiding them to their destinations
  • Assisting with ticketing and baggage check-in processes
  • Ensuring customers have accurate travel documentation
  • Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts (up to 70 pounds)
  • Operating loading bridges
  • Opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
  • Making gate announcements and ensuring customers are aware of boarding procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees

Scheduling and Work Environment

Scheduling is based on operational needs, with shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. Each station is different based on its individual flight schedule. You'll work between 20 and 40 hours per week based on your seniority. Our airport operations are fast-paced and dynamic, requiring flexibility and adaptability.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation
  • Possess basic digital literacy
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT) – you can prepare for the PAT by watching this video
  • Pass a Customer Service Assessment

  • Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with airline software systems
