Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and responding to customer emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing product, service, order-status, and account information to customers, ensuring accuracy and clarity
  • Processing orders, resolving billing issues, exchanging or returning merchandise, and adjusting customer accounts accordingly
  • Researching, identifying, and resolving customer complaints while maintaining detailed documentation and record keeping
  • Identifying and escalating unresolved customer issues to management for further investigation
  • Following up with customers to confirm that changes were made and ensuring customer satisfaction

Customer Service Representative Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1+ year of experience working with customers in a phone-based role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, general computer skills, and basic typing skills
  • Proven customer specialist experience, including:

+ Active listening and customer-focused skills + Professional telephone manner and ability to interact positively and effectively with customers + Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborate, and contribute to a positive culture
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to make decisions
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and dependability
  • Willingness to support others and contribute to an overall positive culture

Essential Skills and Competencies

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Basic typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
