Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative – Community Resource Navigator, you'll be responsible for:

• Performing inbound and outbound calls to members who need help finding local community resources to meet their social needs
• Providing personalized support and guidance to members, using your knowledge of community resources and Medicaid benefits
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of member interactions
• Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Embodying arenaflex's Heart At Work Behaviors and promoting a positive team culture

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of 12 months of customer service or service industry-related experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
• Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency, multi-tasking between online applications, and multiple screens
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, folders)
• A designated workspace free from noise and other distractions
• High-speed internet with the ability to hardwire via ethernet from cable modem to PC
• Bilingual (Spanish or another language) preferred and must be able to pass language certification, if bilingual

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

• At least 1 year in a call center setting
• Inbound/outbound call center experience
• Knowledge of Medicaid
• Personal experience with community resource navigation to assist with Medicaid needs
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Active listening proficiency
• Ability to be receptive to feedback and to embrace continuous improvement
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to display empathy towards customers' needs and concerns
• Desire to contribute to building a positive team spirit
