Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer & Customer Service Representative. This is a unique opportunity to work at the Spring Carlisle Auto Show, engaging with attendees, taking orders, and providing exceptional customer service. If you're successful in this role, you'll have the opportunity to train and lead our team at future Carlisle Events, including Spring Carlisle through Fall Carlisle Car Show events.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer & Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Greeting attendees in our booth and providing a warm, welcoming experience
  • Taking detailed orders for custom printed license plates and signs
  • Providing accurate information regarding products and services
  • Creating custom graphics and printing products on site (with training provided)
  • Engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in customer service or a related field (preferably in a trade show or event setting)
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in either Corel Draw or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for graphic design tasks (this is a plus, but not required for hire)
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress for content management (this is a plus, and we can use someone with web design and content creation skills to help with our websites and social media after the event)
  • A creative mindset with experience in art direction or layout design (desirable)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Basic graphic design skills (with training provided)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress for content management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Graphic Designer & Customer Service Representative, you'll receive:
