About the Role

As a Member Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing telephone assistance to arenaflex Medicaid members and providers. You'll be responsible for answering inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, services, and prior authorization requirements. Our ideal candidate is a customer-centric individual with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

- Answering inbound member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits and programs, etc. - Providing accurate and timely information to customers, while also resolving issues and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner - Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable, as Wi-Fi is not permitted - Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless customer experiences - Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals - Working from home and being self-sufficient, with the ability to commute to the office in Linthicum, MD when necessary

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent GED - Ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form - Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences - Ability to work from home and be self-sufficient - Must commute to the office in Linthicum, MD when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working remotely in a call center setting - Experience with Medicaid and Medicare - Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers
