Job Description: As a Sr Digital Analytic Consultant, you’ll lead the strategy and evolution of Southwest’s Adobe Analytics ecosystem, ensuring our digital measurement capabilities remain best‑in‑class. You’ll guide the technical direction and feature roadmap for Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, ObservePoint, and related marketing technologies—optimizing data collection, strengthening integrations, and maintaining data integrity across platforms. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Technology, and Analytics Teams, you’ll translate complex business questions into actionable solution designs, evaluate feasibility, and drive implementation that empowers accurate, meaningful insights. You’ll stay ahead of emerging trends, maintain solution design documentation, and mentor Analysts and Consultants to elevate skills and consistency across the organization. Through strong technical leadership and strategic vision, you’ll help Southwest unlock deeper digital intelligence and drive better decision‑making across the business. Additional details

  • This role allows for voluntary remote work for the majority of your working time within the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with occasional on-site presence at our Corporate Campus for training, meetings, and business needs. This role may also require limited travel for business purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the technical direction and feature roadmap of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, ObservePoint, and any other Technologies managed by Marketing Technologies
  • Serve as an Adobe Analytics technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development Teams, including internal and external Team members
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
  • Drive detailed definition of feature requirements through discussions with Product Managers, Analysts, and other Customers
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies
  • Translate business needs and questions into viable solutions which fulfill those requirements and enable the end users to accurately provide insights back to the business
  • Guide Analysts and Business Owners through the analytics available to ensure they can leverage the entirety of the solution
  • Mentor other Consultants and Analysts to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders

  • Expert knowledge of development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies obtained through formal training and / or work experience
  • Ability to proactively share knowledge and skills of requirements gathering, development and testing to solve a range of problems
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Skilled in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Ability to partner, communicate, negotiate, and execute in working with various Marketing or partner Teams
  • Ability to articulate (verbally / visually) ideas, approach, concepts, options, risk, impact, and provides guidance to technical, non-technical, and Leadership audiences
  • Ability to lead multiple assignments, whether administrative or project related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work
  • Ability to mentor others
  • Ability to lead ideating, presentations, mentoring and group-thinking sessions
  • Ability to influence without authority

Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Expert level experience, expansive and far-reaching knowledge in:
  • Marketing technologies
  • Adobe Analytics
  • Tag management tools (such as Adobe Launch)
  • Building dashboards and ad hoc reports with visualization tools (such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Workbench, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Domo)
  • Business analytics
  • Project management
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or browser cookies
  • Spreadsheets, databases, and database reporting tools

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
