Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service & Sales Professional at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
  • Learning about products and services using our tools and resources, and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
  • Participating in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and customer engagement

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or related environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new products and services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
