Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry and Claims Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our claims processing team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing claims, maintaining accurate member records, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

* Supports and promotes change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes and procedures.

  • Meets or exceeds departmental quality and service standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of claims processing and record management.
  • Delivers routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meets deadlines appropriately, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of claims processing.
  • Makes routine & non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures & guidelines.
  • Determines eligibility and confirms effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Leverages critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create and modify member level records across multiple products, applications, and platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains accurate member records by verifying dates, names, salary figures, and other information provided by groups, ensuring the integrity of our data.
  • Applies policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability, and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Considers the customer experience in all actions, recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs and demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness in system work independently.

Essential Qualifications

* High School or GED (Minimum Required)

  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow with our team is essential.

* Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining speed of work, accuracy, and attention to detail without loss to productivity.

  • Ability to perform under stress in cases of emergency, critical, or hazardous situations, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor.
