Core Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

Customer Experience & Front‑Line Service

  • Model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience that aligns with arenaxflex’s service standards.

  • Resolve concerns swiftly, answer questions accurately, and ensure each interaction leaves a lasting positive impression.

  • Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring counters and shelves are well‑merchandised and inviting.

Retail Operations & Sales Enablement

  • Register sales on the assigned cash register, manage cash handling, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges with precision.
  • Recommend complementary items and trade‑up products, enhancing the shopper’s basket while meeting sales targets.
  • Assist customers in locating over‑the‑counter (OTC) items, guiding them to the appropriate aisles when needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by checking in, pricing, and merchandising merchandise as directed by the Store Manager or Shift Leader.
  • Support photo‑service stations, offering digital passport photos, poster prints, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.

Pharmacy Support & Prescription Processing (Under Direct Supervision)

  • Utilize arenaxflex pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, accurately entering data for prescription processing.
  • Assist the pharmacist in retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medication accuracy, and checking for potential drug interactions.
  • Report prescription errors immediately to the on‑duty pharmacist and follow the Quality Improvement Program protocols.
  • Handle non‑clinical telephone calls, including physician communications, in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Process manual claims for third‑party prescription services, ensuring timely resubmission and documentation.

Compliance, Quality & Asset Protection

  • Adhere strictly to state and federal regulations, as well as arenaxflex’s Pharmacy Code of Conduct and Good Faith Dispensing policy.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws governing regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
  • Support inventory management activities—ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceuticals—and file claims for overages, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Maintain knowledge of arenaxflex asset protection techniques, safeguarding both store and pharmacy assets.

Store Maintenance & Visual Merchandising

  • Construct and maintain promotional displays, seasonal structures, and sale merchandise, completing reset projects as directed.
  • Assist with food‑item separation and proper product placement according to safety and policy guidelines (e.g., raw meats on bottom shelves).
  • Utilize first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) methods for consumable items, ensuring stock rotation and freshness.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly store environment, both interior and exterior, contributing to a pleasant shopping atmosphere.

Training, Certification & Personal Development

  • Earn and maintain PTCB certification through arenaxflex‑approved training programs and meet any state‑required registration.
  • Participate in ongoing training, complete required PPLs, and acquire continuing education credits to stay current on healthcare developments.
