About the Position

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met. You'll be responsible for greeting and checking-in members, processing membership and program registration requests, scheduling classes and swim-lane reservations, and providing information about our facilities and services. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals, including members, guests, and staff.

Responsibilities

* Greet and check-in members, providing a warm and welcoming experience

  • Process membership and program registration requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Schedule classes and swim-lane reservations, as well as on-site childcare scheduling/check-in
  • Provide information about our facilities and services, including amenities, programs, and events
  • Direct members and guests to other departments and functions within the Freedom Center, ensuring they receive the support they need
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our facilities, services, and programs, staying up-to-date on new developments and initiatives
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional member experiences
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Required Qualifications

* Previous customer service, cash-handling, and computer/database experience

  • Effective verbal and listening skills, with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with diverse populations
  • Ability to act with tact and courtesy, even in challenging situations
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work up to the University-mandated ceiling of 29 hours per week, with flexibility to work alternating weekend shifts
  • Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
