Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service and Medical Receptionist, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to incoming inquiries and service requests from patients, employees, providers, vendors, and others via phone, email, web portal, and other channels
- Providing accurate and timely information, adhering to the highest customer service and quality standards
- Collaborating with team members to support service delivery teams and identify opportunities for improvement
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional ways to provide service
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and recognizing the value of feedback and suggestions
- Adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of employee and patient information
Additional Requirements
* Must be a resident of one of the following states: Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Tennessee, Montana, Missouri, Louisiana, or South Carolina
- This is a work-from-home position, requiring internet minimum speeds of 15 mbps download and 5 mbps upload
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
Preferred Experience
* Medical and healthcare experience is preferred
- 1 year of experience in human resources, payroll, accounts payable, supply chain, call center, or related customer service experience
- 1 year of experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, electronic mail, and information systems or database programs
Skills and Knowledge
* Knowledge of processes within one or more of the following functions desired (required for first round of hiring): Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle Customer Billing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
- Time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives
- Familiarity with office equipment such as multi-lined phones, printers, faxes, copiers, and scanners

Compensation and Benefits
* Pay range: $19.67 to $26.56 per hour
