Job Summary

As a Ramp & Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling ramp operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of our airline's operations. This is a full-time, entry-level position that offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their queries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.

  • Perform ramp operations, including loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and equipment, as well as marshaling aircraft and pushing back planes.
  • Prepare and secure aircraft for departure, including performing pre-flight checks and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Process and secure passenger baggage, including handling claims and resolving issues related to lost or damaged luggage.
  • Work with other team members to ensure the smooth execution of our airline's operations, including coordinating with ground handlers and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in a variety of weather conditions and adapting to changing circumstances.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred.

  • 1+ year of customer service or related experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to learn and work with modernized reservation systems.
  • Composing speed of at least 25 WPM.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks, including twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching, and handling.
  • Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to participate in paid training that may require temporary travel.
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
  • Ability to communicate in English.

Preferred Qualifications

* 1+ year of customer service or related experience.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other team members.
  • Experience with modernized reservation systems.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Compensation and Benefits

* Starting rate: $20.00/hour.
