Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Virtual Assistant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. As a key member of our data management and visual content creation team, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, customer service, and content creation. If you're a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
As a Virtual Assistant at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects and tasks, including:
* Performing data entry tasks, such as transferring data from paper formats into computer files or database systems
* Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
* Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
* Updating existing data
* Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
* Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation
* Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
* Performing market research
* Creating presentations, as assigned
* Generating, editing, publishing, and sharing daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant or relevant role
* Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
* Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
* Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
* Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
* Ability to type 9,000 keystrokes per hour
* Ability to grasp and retain instructions
* High level of concentration
* Self-motivated
* Accuracy
* Ability to work independently
* Specialized training in data entry or prior experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications and skills would be highly desirable:
* Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g. MS Office)
* Basic understanding of databases
* Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
* Experience with social media management tools
* Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles
