About the Role
As a data engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our streaming services. This includes building data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, as well as developing and deploying data processing and analytics applications. You'll work closely with our data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models, and with our product management team to develop and deploy new features and products.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
* Develop and deploy data processing and analytics applications
* Work closely with data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models
* Collaborate with product management team to develop and deploy new features and products
* Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes
* Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects
* Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or R
* Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink
* Experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Apache Hive
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
* Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
* Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
* Experience with DevOps and continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
Skills and Competencies
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance
