Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Client Support: Provide excellent customer service to commercial clients by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and offering solutions.
• Policy Management: Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and other team members to ensure smooth policy administration.
• Quoting and Binding: Assist clients with quoting and binding new policies, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed correctly.
• Claims Assistance: Support clients through the claims process by providing information, assisting with documentation, and liaising with claims adjusters.
• Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and company policies to ensure all actions comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the commercial lines team to ensure a high level of client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve client concerns and issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Experience: Experience in commercial lines insurance or a related field is preferred.
• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Licensing: A valid insurance license is required.
• Skills:

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Strong organizational and time management abilities + Proficiency with insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite + Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy + Ability to work independently and as part of a team
