Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Prescription Data Entry Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities
* Accurately and efficiently enter prescription data into our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex policies
- Verify prescription information, including medication names, dosages, and frequencies, to ensure accuracy and prevent errors
- Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve prescription-related issues, answer questions, and provide support as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescription data, including medication lists, dosages, and administration schedules
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance prescription data entry processes and patient care outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical staff, pharmacists, and other support teams
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and arenaflex policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, medical records) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in prescription data entry, medical records, or a related field
- Strong understanding of prescription data entry processes, including medication management and electronic health records
