Overview Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Sr. Product Researcher will be responsible for conducting market and user research to inform the development of new products and features. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to help the company identify potential opportunities in our target markets by developing and presenting competitive analyses, gathering user demographics and psychographics to inform our user personas, and identifying potential opportunities for partnership or acquisition. The Sr. Product Researcher should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively communicate findings to cross-functional teams. Essential Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and user/stakeholder needs and wants
• Gather and analyze data from a variety of sources, including user interviews, surveys, and online research
• Identify and prioritize product opportunities based on market and user insights
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to define and refine product requirements and roadmaps
• Communicate research findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams through presentations, reports, and other mediums
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of user personas and user journey mapping to inform product design and development
• Develop and own an easily accessible library of research data for the company
• Serve as a thought leader via blog posts and/or webinars

Requirements Location

• Applicants must be based in the United States

You Have:

• 7+ years of experience in market research or product development
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Marketing or Psychology
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools such as Excel and Google Analytics to analyze data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience conducting user research and interviews, and ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Expert verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly distill data, define objectives, build consensus, and implement processes among stakeholders with a wide level of industry and technical experience
• Motivation and a hunger to learn, get your hands dirty interviewing, researching, analyzing, strategizing, and optimizing
• A team player with a positive outlook, entrepreneurial spirit, and competitive fire to be among the industry’s best
• Possess an aptitude for thoroughly understanding user intent and experience
