Transaction Services OTC Derivatives Operations - Associate
Deutsche Bank is a leading global investment bank with a strong presence in the financial services industry. The position of Associate in Transaction Services OTC Derivatives Operations involves supporting trade lifecycle management for the Latam desk and collaborating with various teams to ensure operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Work with various Traders, Sales, and Clearing Brokers on trade clearance and communicate with other operational teams to resolve settlement issues and intercompany breaks
- Ensure all T0-T3 risk is properly mitigated through monitoring of key control reports daily
- Anticipate issues that may adversely affect the operational support of the funds and take action to reduce the risk of occurrences
- Cultivate both internal and external relationships to ensure proper service levels are achieved
- Become familiar with regulatory requirements around derivative products and develop a deeper understanding of different products and markets to build relationships with business partners to service our clients
- Utilize applications such as MarkitWire, Summit, PLD, SBS, iTrac, and RMS daily
Skills
- Previous Financial Services experience specific to the OTC Emerging Markets & Rates Derivatives
- Basic understanding of Investment Bank / Securities Broker structure with regard to derivatives transaction processing
- Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently
- BA/BS/BBA in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Able to work independently and proactively
